AmeriFleet, a provider of fleet logistics services in North America, announced today that it had promoted Bridget Wilson, MBA, CPA from Corporate Controller to VP of Finance, effective immediately. Ms. Wilson brings a wealth of experience and a diverse financial background to AmeriFleet. She has been with the company for just over a year.
Ms. Wilson’s primary duties include oversight of the day to day operations of all financial aspects of the company. She will report directly to AmeriFleet CFO and Board Member, Rich Dennis, who said the company was “lucky to have such an experienced veteran” during what has become a period of significant growth for the company.
Ms. Wilson brings over 15 years’ experience to her new position, including a stint as a Business Analyst at Arthur Anderson. She followed that up with almost a decade as a key financial executive for Connecticut-based United Technologies, a company with a diverse portfolio of holdings, a position she thinks helped prepare her for her new role at AmeriFleet.
“We’re really excited to have someone of Bridget’s caliber step in to provide the kind of leadership that can help us reach new heights,” Mr. Dennis said. “She’s already done some amazing things for the company and we’re proud to have her.”
For her part, Ms. Wilson said she is looking forward to the challenge, and that she is especially encouraged by the “atmosphere of cooperation” she sees among her colleagues.
Ms. Wilson is a graduate of the MBA program at the University of Connecticut, and lives in the North Atlanta suburbs. In her free time she enjoys hiking, and is looking forward to getting married in the Fall.
