Nissan is rolling out its semi-autonomous driving technology ProPilot Assist on a higher trim of the 2018 Rogue compact SUV, which has become Nissan's best selling model.

Nissan will offer the technology on the SL Platinum, which will retail for about $35,000 when it arrives later this month. Nissan will also offer ProPilot Assist on its 2018 Leaf battery-electric car set to arrive in January.

By using ProPilot Assist, a driver allows the vehicle to help maintain lane control, navigate stop-and-go traffic, maintain a set speed, and set a distance from the vehicle ahead.

Nissan offers the Rogue in three trim grades, including S, SV, and SL.
