Peterbilt announced that its low-cab forward Model 320 reached record production in 2014 with more than 1,600 trucks built, a 12 percent year-over-year increase.
The specialty vehicle – used primarily in refuse operations and concrete pumper applications – recently was introduced with an entirely new interior, and a right-hand stand-up cab configuration was announced late last year. The Denton, Texas-based company said it would introduce a dual-steer configuration later this year.
Among the 320’s new features are a instrumentation panel with LED backlit gauges; Peterbilt Driver Information Display that provides real-time communication of vehicle performance and diagnostics; easier-to-reach instrumentation; and increased visibility, including rear cab corner windows.
