Land Rover is recalling 2,687 2015 model-year LR4 SUVs because a software error in the anti-lock braking system may disable other safety systems and result in a loss of vehicle stability and control, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The ABS software error could potentially disable the dynamic stability control (DSC), roll stability control (RSC), traction control (TC) and hill decent control (HDC) systems, NHTSA said.

To resolve the problem, Land Rover dealers will update the ABS software, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin June 5. LR4 owners can reach Land Rover customer service at (800) 637-6837. Land Rover’s number for this recall is P062.
