A coalition of automakers have proposed rolling out hydrogen fueling stations to 19 areas in California as the initial fueling network for fuel-cell vehicles.

The California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) released the list earlier this month of 11 "primary priority" locations and eight "secondary priority" locations. The group includes General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

The automakers released the list to support planning efforts for the next phase of hydrogen fueling deployment. There are now eight open hydrogen stations in the state.

The group's fueling stations mostly cover more populated areas in northern and southern California. The list includes Lebec, which is 80 miles north of Los Angeles along Interstate 5. Read the full list here.
