Cars.com has named the Toyota Camry as the most American-Made car based on its manufacturing locations in Indiana and Kentucky.

Other cars included on the list included the Toyota Sienna, Chevrolet Traverse, Honda Odyssey, GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave, and Chevrolet Corvette. Vehicles needed at least 75 percent domestic content for inclusion on the American-Made Index.

The Ford F-150 fell off this year's list in its 2015 redesign because it included less than 75 percent of domestic-parts content. The number of cars on the list has fallen from the 29 vehicles that qualified five years ago.

The Camry is assembled at Toyota's Georgetown, Ky., plant as well as in Lafayette, Ind., through a partnership with Subaru. The non-hybrid Camry accounts for about a quarter of the cars that Subaru's Lafayette plant produces and about two-thirds of the cars that Toyota's Georgetown plant produces.

If you took the same ratio of employees from each plant, the Camry supports about 5,900 assembly-plant workers, according to employment figures provided by each plant. Using the same methodology to evaluate others on the index, Toyota's family sedan still directly supports the most Americans, according to Cars.com.
