Mazda's CX-3 subcompact SUV will carry a $20,840 including destination fees as a starting retail price when it goes on sale in the middle of August, Mazda has announced.
Mazda is offering the CX-3 in three trim levels that will be familiar to Mazda buyers, including the Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. The models will carry retail pricing of $20,840, $22,840, and $25,870 respectively. Mazda is offering the Touring Technology Package for $1,410 on the Touring model, and i-ActiveSense safety package for $1,920 on the Grand Touring model.
The CX-3 arrives as a front-wheel drive vehicle. Buyers can add Mazda's i-Activ all-wheel drive for $1,250.
The CX-3 is powered by a SkyActive-G 2.0-liter four-cylinder producing 146 hp and 146 lb.-ft. of torque. The EPA has rated the front-wheel-drive model's fuel economy at 29 mpg in the city, 35 mpg on the highway, and 31 mpg combined. The all-wheel drive model has been rated at 27 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 29 mpg combined.
The prices include an $880 destination and handling charge. Alaska buyers will pay a $925 handling fee.
