25 videos for 25 years: John O’Keefe’s Low Life

One way we’re celebrating the 25th anniversary of Overdrive’s Pride & Polish this year is highlighting 25 of our best custom rigs videos.

In the eleventh week of the countdown – which will span 25 weeks – here’s John O’Keefe’s 2007 Peterbilt 379 and 2011 Mac Dump, which features suicide doors, faux stacks and more.

O’Keefe won several awards with the truck, including the 2012 Pride & Polish National Championship for Working Combo.

The truck’s highlights include faux stacks painted to match the truck’s paint scheme, decorative holes in its fuel tanks and more than 400 lights – all of which are hidden from view until turned on, save for the truck’s headlights and taillights. The truck is also adorned with brass-knuckle style accents throughout, including the intricate work on the mirror brackets.
