Element Fleet Management announced the appointment of John Wall to senior vice president and chief technology officer. In this role, Wall is responsible for the vision and strategy behind Element’s technology direction and innovation.

Prior to joining Element, Wall served as senior vice president and chief technology officer of Symcor, one of Canada’s leading financial processing services providers. He transformed the organization from legacy platforms to secure, cloud-based solutions, providing customers with reliable and scalable solutions for both analytics and transactional services. Before that, he held positions in the healthcare and financial services industries, earning seven patents during this time. Wall received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.

“John Wall brings a strong track record of technology-driven innovation that will benefit our customers and organization as a whole,” said Jim Halliday, president of Element Fleet Management. “We are committed to developing and deploying the next generation of advanced fleet analytics and data benchmarking tools that take fleet performance to the next level. Wall’s expertise and philosophy on technology will be integral in this continued effort.”

Wall will lead Element Fleet Management’s strategic direction for the future of connected vehicles, predictive analytics and management of assets and driver behavior for improved results.

“This is an incredible time for technology in the fleet space and I’m thrilled to be joining the Element team,” said Wall. “We will focus on addressing our clients’ evolving needs and empowering them to utilize solutions that will improve their business.”
