Truck maker Isuzu has welcomed the creation of a single recognized reference document for the use of telematics in Australia, according to a report by fullyloaded.com.au.
Transport Certification Australia (TCA) released its Telematics Data Dictionary in December 2014, establishing a common set of definitions for the use and exchange of data and information in the transport sector, according to the report.
For Isuzu, that means development of universal telematics systems that can move from truck to truck, according to the report.
