Volkswagen Chattanooga has achieved a significant production milestone with the completion of its 500,000th Passat mid-size sedan.
The milestone car was a Candy White Limited Edition with black interior, keyless access with push-button start, a rear-view camera, heated seats, a 170-hp, 1.8-liter turbo engine, premium radio and 17-inch alloy Sonoma wheels.
Volkswagen Chattanooga is currently undertaking a $900 million expansion to produce a seven-seat, midsize SUV.
