Nissan North America is recalling 6,595 2015 model-year Nissan Rogue, Sentra and Versa vehicles because their driver-side front and rear doors might not fully latch, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.
The recall covers Rogue SUVs manufactured June 9-10, and Sentra and Versa vehicles manufactured June 5-13. The doors fail to meet federal safety standards, NHTSA said.
Nissan dealers will inspect the date, lot number and cavity code on the left front and rear door latches. The latches will be replaced, if necessary, free of charge, NHTSA said.
The recall is expected to begin by mid-September. Vehicle owners can reach Nissan customer service at (800) 647-7261.
