CarterEnergy has opened its first public-access compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station in Kansas City, Kan., the fuel supplier announced.

Located at 401 Kindleberger Road, the station was constructed just north of CarterEnergy's new product distribution center in the Fairfax district.

The site was built under CarterEnergy's CNG@WORK program, which helps fleets convert to CNG through services such as low-cost natural gas supply, CNG vehicle and refueling infrasturcture consulting, and turnkey CNG station financing and developing, according to CarterEnergy.
