Charles Stevenson has been promoted to director of fleet and supply chain management for Aqua America.
Prior to his promotion, Stevenson was the manager of fleet and materials management at Aqua America where he was responsible for the company's 12,000-vehicle fleet, vendor management, inventory control and maintenance, and material management.
The company's CFO, Dave Smeltzer, said that combining the company's purchasing operation with its inventory and material management operation was a natural fit. He believes that the combined department's efficiency will benefit from the collaboration.
Stevenson has been at Aqua America for 28 years.
