ARI’s Bob Graham Retiring After 42 Years of Service

Bob Graham

ARI announced that Bob Graham, vice president, vehicle remarketing, has announced his retirement effective at the end of 2015. His wife, Cheryl Graham, who has been with ARI for more than 35 years, will also be retiring at the end of the year.

Throughout her career, Cheryl has delivered exceptional customer service in numerous leadership positions including billing, sales, client relations, government and most recently manager, learning programs in ARI University.

Bob began his career with ARI in 1973 after attending La Salle University. He worked in the operations and service departments before landing in vehicle remarketing in 1975. He was promoted to manager of the department in 1984, director in 2005, and appointed vice president in 2010.

During his tenure with ARI, Bob’s talent, insight and leadership ensured that ARI’s remarketing department consistently remained at the forefront of innovation within the industry. He was instrumental in the development of ARI’s web-based services including ARIAutoDirect®, ARIBuyDirect®, and in the company’s pioneering commitment to the multiplatform marketplace.

This was evident in 2013, when he was named Consignor of the Year by Bobit Business Media not only for his efforts to keep remarketing evolving with the times, but also for his mentorship to a new generation of consignors and remarketers.

In addition, he was an active leader in the industry throughout his career. In 2009, he was named president of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) and held the position of Chairman from 2011 through 2015.

“ARI has been our home for many years,” he commented. “We will always cherish the time spent here not only developing ARI and its remarketing and other services as a best-in-class operation, but also the personal connections we’ve made with so many people both at ARI and throughout the industry.” The Grahams plan to travel, do volunteer work and spend more time with their family.
