Pictured above at a recent stop at Mt. Logan elementary school in Chillicothe, Ohio, the Kenworth T600 hauling the Christmas tree destined ultimate for the U.S. Capitol also got something of a unique video treatment this week by Brian Blosser, the Northern Indiana Regional Equipment Manager at Rieth-Riley Construction.
Rieth-Riley is a customer of Lower Great Lakes Kenworth in South Bend, Ind., where the truck also made a stop on its tour. Enjoy the vid — yep, that’s Keith Harling’s “Santa’s Got a Semi” in the background — below.

A look at the Rockefeller center tree’s cutting early this month
Speaking of Christmas trees, these pictures came my way via reader Scott LeVan, who noted a close friend is involved pruning the trees the New York City center scouts for its famous decades-old tree-lighting ceremony. The tree has been standing in Rockefeller Center for a couple weeks now, and was cut from the front yard of Albert Asendorf in Gardiner, N.Y.
The tree rolled on the 115-ft. trailer, according to reports, you can see a bit of in both pictures here.
Catch video and of the raising and cutting both in this post on the website of NBC New York.
