Vauxhall Movano vans are being converted by Doncaster-based Clarks Vehicle Conversions to create a welfare vehicle, offering the perfect solution for a transient workforce.
Based on the front-wheel-drive Movano L3H2 van, the approved conversion provides canteen seating for up to four people at a time, offers separate heating, hand wash and eating facilities, and the ability to provide a hot water boiler for tea and a built-in microwave. A separate toilet facility complete with hand wash basin can also be ordered as an option, according to the automaker.
The Movano Welfare Vehicle fully meets the very latest, stringent whole vehicle type approval regulations and features a robust interior, fully lined in a light grey phenol-laminated ply to provide a durable quality finish. A number of tailored options are also available such as racking, shelving, lining kits, and ladder racks, according to the automaker.
“The Vauxhall Movano provides the ideal blank canvas for a welfare vehicle conversion, which we’ve seen growing in popularity," Richard Collier, Vauxhall’s national commercial vehicle and business-to-business sales manager, added. "The Movano’s versatility means we can offer a number of configurations to customers, fulfilling both small and big companies’ needs.”
