Hyundai will begin offering Apple CarPlay in the first quarter of 2016, reports the Detroit Free Press. The automaker had originally said the software would be available for model-year 2015 Sonata sedans.

Owners will need to buy an SD card separately to get the software. The automaker already offers Android Auto for free in select model-year 2015 Sonatas and 2016 Sonatas.

CarPlay and Android Auto allow drivers to use their smart phones for navigation, music, phone calls and more safely while they drive.

“Hyundai and Apple are committed to delivering drivers the best possible experience while using CarPlay in their vehicles,” according to a statement from Hyundai. “We are currently working together to complete CarPlay integration.”
