Subaru Breaks Ground on New HQ

Subaru has begun building a $118-million corporate headquarters in Camden, N.J., as it prepares to eventually move from its nearby headquarters in the Cherry Hill suburb.

Subaru is moving to a 1.4-million square-foot site adjacent to Campbell Soup's global headquarters in a master planned campus known as Knights Crossing. The project should be completed by the end of 2017.

Subaru will bring more than 600 employees and contractors to the city of Camden. The new facility will include 250,000 square feet and an additional 83,000-square-foot building. The new facilit will more than double the size of Subaru's current headquarters building and will bring employees from four sites onto one campus. Subaru also maintans offices in Pennsauken and Florence in New Jersey.
