The image overlays the road with the virtual route line, eliminating the need to look at the embedded GPS. The device also uses gesture and voice control for an effortless driving experience.

WayRay Element can be described as a ‘wearable for your car.’ It can be plugged to the on-board diagnostics (OBD) connector of any car model post 1992 and can track driver performance, fuel usage and the automobile’s overall health. The information is visualized and can be accessed through a smartphone, PC or a tablet. The device is an automated driving coach app which provides steps to improve driving skills.

“These devices represent a giant leap forward in the concept of the connected car,” said Vitaly Ponomarev, Founder & CEO of WayRay. “We’ve adapted cutting-edge aerospace R&D in augmented reality and analytics into easy-to-use commercial devices, and thanks to Orange Business Services we can cover any automobile in the United States. This is real innovation that can change the way cars are driven in the U.S., save lives and bring us one step closer to self-driving automobiles.”
