In this session, Terry will cover the scope of legalized marijuana and “right to carry” in the US and their implications for fleet as well as the importance of strong written policies to protect employers who operate fleets.

Terry Horrocks serves as Manager for Risk and Safety Services in Element Fleet Management’s Sparks, Maryland office. He is responsible for the operations of the MVR and training department as well as client engagement and retention; as related to risk and safety.
Prior to joining Element in 2012, Terry served for 24 years with the Baltimore Fire Department retiring as a Captain. His tenure included stints with Safety, Emergency Medical Services, Training Academy and Special Operations. Terry is certified by the Maryland State Police in collision investigation and reconstruction, as well as a National Safety Council Instructor.
