ARI's John Herold, fleet management support representative, will conduct an online webinar to discuss the importance of maintenance technicians as an extra set of eyes to make cost-conscious decisions for a fleet, the fleet management company has announced.
The webinar, "Maintenance Technicians: Your Cost Savings Consultants," is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 23 at two times for attendees, including 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. There is no charge to participate.
"Most successful organizations have some sort of maintenance program in place, whether it is in-house or with a third party provider," said Herold. "However, as a fleet continues to grow, it is important for fleet managers to not only have these extra sets of eyes monitoring the repair process, but also make recommendations to ensure repairs are handled on time and within budget with the fleet's best interests in mind. This is where I believe a maintenance technician can really shine."
During the webinar, Herold will review the qualities to look for in qualified maintenance technicians, the job functions of these individuals, as well as conduct a poll to learn what attendees would do during a real-life maintenance repair versus replace scenario.
