Art Liggio, Driving Dynamics' president, will lead a Leadership Safety Coaching session at the 2016 Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) Regional Forum on Feb. 25 at the Sheraton Suites in Tampa, Fla., the company has announced.
This session will emphasize coaching techniques for non-safety professionals.
Liggio, a risk and insurance management executive with more than 30 years of experience helping businesses manage risk and mitigate losses, will share a coaching method during the presentation designed to remove the barriers of communication between a supervisor and fleet driver regarding critical safety issues that can directly put that driver at risk.
The learning objectives of this presentation will include:
- Personalizing and using risk management data in a one-to-one format
- Understanding the five levels of communication
- Using open-ended questions
- Implementing a four-step coaching process
The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. For more information, visit the Driving Dynamics website.
