Google Self-Driving Car Strikes Bus

An autonomous Google car that struck a municipal bus in a crash that appears to place fault with Google's autonomous Lexus RX450, reports Reuters.

Google said it bears "some responsibility" for the Feb. 14 crash, and had modified the autonomous software following the incident.

The self-driving Lexus RX450 carrying a test driver struck the bus in Mountain View when it attempted to get around some sandbags in a wide lane.
