Volkswagen of America has hired Drew McClelland as a fleet sales representative for the Central Region to oversee fleet sales in 15 states, the company has announced.
McClelland joins Volkswagen from his role as a regional sales manager for Wheels, Inc. He has held a variety of roles with fleet management companies and automotive manufacturers during his 25-year career.
In his new role, McClelland will oversee sales in western Pennsylvania and 14 other states, including Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. He will be based in the Midwest.
McClelland offers expertise in "strategizing with his clients, understanding their needs and working with them to influence positive change," said Martin Kiel, Volkswagen's national fleet sales manager. "Drew's consultative approach ensures that his clients operate their fleets in the most effective manner and meet all their business requirements."
McClelland is now one of four regional fleet sales managers for Volkswagen, including Michelle Franco-Birriel (Southern Region), Kurstan Sexton (Eastern Region), and Debbie Struna (Western Region).
