Ford's 2017 Escape compact SUV will arrive with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and additional driver-assist technology, Ford has announced.
Ford is adding Sync 3 to the 2017 Escape that will enable smartphone mirroring. Ford is also adding a technology that helps keep drivers in their lane; maintain a set speed and distance on the highway; and help drivers get out of a tight parking spot.
The 2017 Escape, which goes on sale in May, will be the first Ford vehicle available with new Sync Connect technology that offers remote start and door locking via the new FordPass platform. The compact SUV will also offer available enhanced active park assist.
The 2017 Escape will offer two additional EcoBoost engines, including a 1.5L and a 2.0L twin-scroll with auto start-stop functionality.
