Chevrolet will offer its 2017 Bolt EV for a retail price of at least $37,495, including delivery fees, that shrinks to $29,995 after the federal rebate of $7,500 is applied, the company announced.

In California, the Bolt EV may also be eligible for the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project program, which typically offers a tax credit of $2,500 for a battery-electric vehicle. The program has not yet announced a rebate for the vehicle.

The entry model Bolt EV will be the LT trim that includes a rear-view camera, 10.2-inch color touch screen, and Michelin self-sealing tires. Chevrolet will also offer a Premier trim that adds leather-appointed seats, front and rear heated seats, a surround camera, and rear camera mirror.

The Bolt EV is scheduled to arrive at Chevrolet dealerships in late 2016.
