Nissan Altima Returns for 2017 at Same Price

Nissan's Altima returns for the 2017 model year with a retail price that's virtually unchanged from the prior model year that saw a mid-cycle refresh of the brand's top-selling car.

The 2017 Altima arrives with a starting price of $23,335 for the base model 2.5 — one of seven trim grades that return from 2016. Pricing for other 2017 Altima models include $23,735 for the 2.5 S, $25,305 for the 2.5 SR, $26,295 for the 2.5 SV, $29,405 for the 2.5 SL, $28,825 for the 3.5 SR, and $33,525 for the 3.5 SL.

The Altima's 2016 refresh featured retuned steering and suspension, as well as the addition of the Xtronic transmission’s third-generation D-step logic, which simulates traditional automatic transmission shift points and improves performance.

The 2017 Altima also expanded safety features branded as Safety Shield Technologies include Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Forward Emergency Braking, Intelligent Cruise Control and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The 2017 Altima is now on sale.
