California deadline for ordering DPFs for reefer units is Oct. 31

The California Air Resources Board reminds 2009 model reefer unit owners Monday, Oct. 31 is the deadline for ordering Level 3 verified diesel particulate filters to retrofit reefer engines. Owner-operators can also apply for an extension, if they meet certain criteria.
