The national average price for regular unleaded gasoline has reached $2.22 per gallon—two cents more than one week ago. Despite the slight rise in prices, drivers continue to experience year-over-year savings, with today’s average price about 7 cents per gallon less than the same date last year, according to AAA.

Maintenance at BP’s Whiting refinery in Indiana has affected supply in the Great Lakes region, causing a price jump in some states. Four states in the region were among the top 10 biggest weekly price increases, including Ohio (14 cents), Indiana (9 cents), Michigan (7 cents), and Illinois (4 cents).

The other biggest weekly price increases were seen in Kentucky (10 cents), Louisiana (5 cents), Arkansas (4 cents), and Mississippi (3 cents). The Gulf Coast region is up by 4 cents to $2.007, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.

Operations have resumed on the Colonial Pipeline, causing some of the largest weekly decreases in affected states, including Georgia (4 cents), North Carolina (3 cents), Tennessee (3 cents), and South Carolina (3 cents).

Average gas prices are below $2 per gallon in three states, including New Jersey and Texas, both at $1.98, and Missouri at $1.99, according to AAA.
