Minimum driver training standards rule set to publish next month, DOT says

A DOT rule to implement a core curriculum for initial trucker training and require 30 hours behind the wheel before being issued a CDL is set to publish next month, as is a separate rule to establish a database of truckers who've failed or refused a drug test.
