Parts of I-95 in North Carolina closed due to flooding, debris from Hurricane Matthew

Monday morning, NCDOT reported I-95 southbound from mile marker 73 to mile marker 58 was closed due to flooding, and Sunday night, the agency said I-95 in both directions was closed between mile marker 40 and mile marker 55. Sunday afternoon, NCDOT reported flood waters had closed I-95 southbound at exit 77.
