General Motors is recalling 327 2016-model year Buick Envision SUVs because the master cylinder brake lines might crack and leak brake fluid, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.
“If there is a loss of brake fluid, braking performance may be reduced on lost, increasing the risk of a crash,” NHTSA warned on its website. The recall covers Envision SUVs manufactured from Jan. 19 to March 18 of this year.
To resolve the issue, dealers will replace the master cylinder brake lines. There will be no charge for this service.
Vehicle owners can reach Buick customer service at (800) 521-7300. GM’s number for this recall is 16169.
