Robert Yelk was named category manager, procurement and strategic sourcing for Unimin Corp. in New Canaan, Conn. He assumed this position in July 2016.
Prior to this, Yelk was global procurement category manager for Tronox in Stamford, Conn. While at Tronox, Yelk was responsible for IT, travel, facility services, HR services, fleet, and financial services.
