Bernard Kuhnt has been named BMW of North America's CEO in a move that takes effect on March 1, BMW has announced.
Ludwig Willisch, who previously held that title, is now head of BMW Group Region Americas, according to a Feb. 2 statement.
In another move, Petter Witt will leave his role as executive vice president of operations at the end of February. One of Kuhnt's first priorities will be naming a replacement for Witt, who is leaving the company.
BMW has made several executive changes in recent years in its corporate sales ranks. In May, BMW appointed David Duncan as head of corporate and special sales. Clem Ciufo joined BMW in 2015 as its corporate sales manager and reports to Duncan.
