Fiat Chrysler has expanded its Automobility program to help ease the financial burden for drivers and passengers with physical challenges and has introduced a wheelchair-friendly Pacifica minivan under a new partnership with BraunAbility.

FCA announced the moves at the Chicago Auto Show.

With the expanded program, eligible FCA customers can receive reimbursements up to $1,000 for installing adaptive passenger or driver equipment on purchased or leased new vehicles.

FCA has also updated its Automobility website, which helps guide customers to find adaptive equipment, vehicles that can be adapted for mobility needs, local adaptive equipment dealers, and how to apply for Automobility reimbursement.

As part of the Automobility program, FCA has also unveiled its new wheelchair-accessible 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan. FCA partnered with BraunAbility for the more accessible Pacifica, which features a sliding door expansion and wide side-entry ramp.

There are now 25 eligible FCA vehicles in the program.
