Jeff Schlesinger was named president and CEO of LeasePlan USA, a fleet management company headquartered in Alpharetta, Ga. Schlesinger succeeds Mike Pitcher, who retired as president & CEO of LeasePlan USA last January.
Schlesinger is a 20-year veteran of GE Capital. The last seven of those years, Schlesinger served as senior vice president & managing director at GE Capital Fleet Services, where he developed go-to-market strategies for the business unit’s international prospects and customers.
Prior to joining the GE Capital fleet business, Schlesinger was the managing director of GE Capital Water & Technology from 2005 to 2007 and the managing director of the GE Capital Markets Group from 1996 to 2005.
Schlesinger started his career in the financial services industry working for companies such as Chase and CIT.
