Med examiner who issued fraudulent cards to truckers to be sentenced next month

Dr. Anthony Lefteris operated out of an Atlanta Petro Stopping Center. Authorities claimed Lefteris intentionally issued medical certificates to drivers despite skipping required tests. The DOT required 6,600 drivers to renew their medical certification in the wake of Lefteris’ arrest.
