Toyota Australia has ended production of its Aurion V-6 sedan as the automaker ends 54 years of manufacturing in the country this October.
During its 11-year production run, more than 110,000 were sold domestically, while approximately 70,000 units were built for export, according to WardsAuto.com. Toyota Australia also has plans to end production of the Camry in the coming weeks.
Officers of the Queensland Police Service used variants of the Aurion in their daily duties, according to Sunshine Coast Daily.
The automaker sold fewer than 2,000 Aurion V6 vehicles in Australia this year, according to Sunshine Coast Daily.
The sedan first debuted at the 2006 Melbourne auto show, according to WardsAuto.
