Ford's CEO Jim Hackett, who took over the top job in May, will give the keynote address at CES 2018, where he will discuss mobility solutions, the world's largest consumer electronics trade show announced.
Since assuming the top job, Hackett has said he wants to shift investment into trucks and electrified vehicles, while also reducing costs and investment in sedans and internal combustion engines.
At CES, Hackett will discuss progress toward smarter cities, Ford's vision to become the "world's most trusted mobility company," and designing smart vehicles for a smart world, according to the event.
Hackett will speak on Jan. 9 at The Venezian in the Palazzo Ballroom.
