ARI Recognized as One of the Best Workplaces in Canada for Second Consecutive Year

ARI announced it has been recognized as one of the 2018 Best Workplaces™ in Canada. Ranked at number 26, this marks the second consecutive year ARI has been named to the Canadian list.

“We are incredibly proud to be recognized as one of the Best Workplaces in Canada and being named to the list for the second year in a row is a tremendous honor,” said Geoff Seely, vice president and general manager, ARI Canada. “We seek to foster a culture that is supportive, collaborative and based around a sense of family. We invest in the development and well-being of our people because at the end of the day, our success as a business is the direct result of their hard work and dedication.”

The 2018 Best Workplaces in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work Institute. The Institute praised ARI for its collaborative atmosphere, exceptional workplace culture that emphasizes a proper work/life balance built on a foundation of inclusivity, open, two-way communication between employees and leadership, as well as trust and flexibility. ARI was also commended for its Partners in Excellence employee engagement program, its Healthier at Holman wellness initiative, and commitment to employee development that includes full tuition reimbursement and Holman University, a comprehensive in-house educational program.

“Our culture has always been a key pillar of our corporate philosophy and this recognition is further validation that our people are what makes ARI a truly unique and special place to work,” said Rick Tousaw, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, ARI. “Each day, we strive to create an environment of friendship and teamwork which ultimately fuels the success of both ARI and each individual throughout our entire organization.”

The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from confidential employee survey results and the remaining one-third comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to five trust-building dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.

This year, over 400 companies representing more than 80,000 employees participated in the 2018 “Best Workplaces in Canada” survey.
