The CEI Group, Inc. (CEI) announced today that Luann Dunkerley, its Northeast regional manager and a veteran of the trucking industry, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the National Private Truck Council (NPTC). She assumes the position after serving on the Board of Governors of the NPTC Institute, the organization’s continuing education and research arm, since 2012.
The National Private Truck Council is the only trade association in the United States devoted exclusively to the interests of the private corporate trucking fleet industry and its professional practitioners. NPTC represents a cross-section of American manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and public service organizations ranging in size from family-owned small businesses and town utility fleets to Fortune 500 global conglomerates.
“This appointment is recognition of Luann’s deep knowledge of the trucking industry’s needs and priorities, and her contributions to the NPTC over the years,” said John Wysseier, CEI’s chief executive officer. “She is a valued asset to both CEI’s trucking customers and to the industry at large, and we are proud of her record of service.”
Ms. Dunkerley joined to CEI in 2008, after a long career with Ryder System, Inc., a global provider of transportation, logistics, and supply chain management. In her last position at Ryder, she was a Market Development Manager based in Philadelphia, PA, with responsibility for leasing and financing programs for targeted accounts in the Delaware Valley.
