Despite successful test runs, Uber shutting down autonomous truck unit

Uber announced Monday night the company will shut down its autonomous truck division, bringing an un-ceremonious end to the company's efforts to retrofit trucks with self-driving capabilities. Shuttering the self-driving truck unit does not affect the Uber Freight platform.
