As detailed by Overdrive in prior coverage, many states have already harmonized their regulations for intrastate drivers with FMCSA's ELD rule. Some state legislatures have taken action, too, including Florida's, who passed a law requiring ELD use this year. The Trucking Alliance, however, wants lawmakers in all states to pass such legislation.
