FMCSA Administrator Ray Martinez, who spoke to a small group of reporters on Friday at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, said should the agency pursue changes to hours of service, he hopes to work quickly through the rulemaking process. "We’re committed to moving on this,” he said. “I don’t think this should be an issue that languishes."
