Fuel taxes set to increase in Alabama, Arkansas

Alabama’s first fuel tax increase will take effect on Aug. 31 this year with a 6 cents-per-gallon increase. It will also increase by 2 cents on Oct. 1, 2020 and on Oct. 1, 2021. Arkansas' 6-cent fuel tax increase will take effect Oct. 1 this year.
