Interstates shut down in Rockies, Plains following intense blizzard

An intense blizzard that consisted of hurricane-force wind gusts and heavy snow has forced the closure of some major highways in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota. Portions of I-25, I-70, I-76, I-80, I-90, I-94 and I-29 are closed throughout the region.
