On April 27th, Downs Energy participated in the California Trucking Association’s Professional Truck Driving Championships. This event consisted of a competition of drivers across the entire state of California. The event is organized in order to promote safe driving and professionalism in the transportation industry. The competition gives truck drivers the chance to test their job skills while using the vehicles that are the tools of their trade. These slow speed courses were designed to test the accuracy of the driver’s ability to handle his/her unit in close quarters. We thank the California Trucking Association for including us in this great event as we look forward to next year.
