Merchants Fleet announces that Jason Jones has joined their technology team as Director of Analytics and Data Management. He will be responsible for expanding Merchants Fleet’s analytical and data management capabilities through building business partnerships, executing data management best practices, and developing innovative technology solutions.

Charlton, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology & Digital Officer at Merchants Fleet. “Managing and using data strategically is critically important to our business, and we are excited to have Jason as part of our team to assist in this area.”
Jones brings over a decade of technology, data strategy, and analytics experience to Merchants. Prior to joining Merchants, he was Director of Analytics at Kellogg Company, where using business intelligence, data engineering, and data science, he created the strategy and vision for the company’s approach to transformative data and data-driven analytics. He also was Director of Information Management and Business Intelligence Practice for intellectual property-based strategic consulting firm The Hackett Group, where he led information management, data strategy, and reporting and analytics to support client growth strategies.
His areas of expertise include information visualization, reporting strategy and design, business insights generation, executive data science, data strategy and roadmapping, key performance indicator design, master data management, and technology implementation. Jones has his MBA with a focus in strategic management, finance, and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is based in the Greater Chicago area.
