Coronavirus risk for truckers appears minimal, though lockdown in China could impact inbound freight

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says it’s currently unclear if a person can contract the new coronavirus by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touching their own mouth, nose or eyes. A chief economist for Flexport says so far there has been no evidence that the virus can be carried on shipments.
